The first night was terrific, if you didn’t manage to catch the vibe come on the 1st April

The original Jazz DJ plays a heady mixture of Jazz, Latin and Groovy sounds. ¬£8 upfront ¬Ý¬£10 on the door. Door opens at 6pm for food and drinks before Paul begins and the dancing starts.

DJ Paul Murphy was an influential figure and a pioneer in the 80s jazz scene, not least at Soho’s Wag Club ¬Ýand Fitzrovia’s Sol Y Sombra. As Paul says “I always seemed to be ¬Ýplaying in dive bars below seedy hotels, old Victorian pubs still full of Withnail and I types, South American restaurants full of extras from Scarface and ex-strip bars. ¬Ýfabulously ¬Ýsordid ¬Ýin a glamorous way.
