The Stash Gallery is proud to show John Claridge’s Venice photographs originally limited edition prints.
John Claridge’s prints of Venice blur into an expressionists view of this light and dark waterlogged city. Here ghosts fill the grandeur and menace plays into the depths of the canals.
Venice is a city that echos Romance for so many, yet Claridge’s lense seems to capture a magical mystery in his use of colour, that often reminds one more of Du Maurier’s Don’t Look Now as opposed to the modern days of the Biennale!
Timeless images to get lost in.
